We currently have great opportunities for production and ready markets for Cocoa, Maize and Rice in various farms across the country aggregated as big farms. The Big Farm Concept is designed to crowdfund investments for smallholder farmers and provide it to them in the form of training, inputs, tech-driven support, climate information advisory, insurance and access to markets.
The Big Farm provides investors with the opportunity to fund a farm, empower and improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers, create jobs, stimulate the economy, share in the harvest and make good money, 20% per annum on investments. Our Economics of Production (EOP) for any of the crops (Cocoa, Maize or Rice) is N 250, 000.00/Ha. This ensures that every associated risks of production have been taken into consideration and brought to the barest minimum. An investment in the Big Farm starts as low as N 25,000 for 0.1 Ha and investors can fund as many Hectares as they want, with a guaranteed 20% return on investments annually. Hectares of land available for cultivation, management and funding in this cycle are 500, 500 and 200 Hectares for Cocoa, Maize and Rice respectively.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a guiding principle for the Big Farm concept as it addresses 10 key SDGs namely, no poverty, zero hunger, good health and wellbeing, quality education, clean water and sanitation, decent work and economic growth, responsible production and consumption, climate action and partnership for sustainable development.
